Summary

We are looking for a Software Developer who will help us with writing quality code, tests and documentation for our customers. The scope of the tasks ranges from little useful snippets to services exposed by an API, and following the best practices on the target platform (AWS, Kubernetes…).

Your journey at Technofy

You will join one of the Delivery Teams of Technofy and work among other engineers. Each team is a small tribe led by a Delivery Team Manager who is responsible for bridging your talent with our customers' needs. We expect you to live and contribute to the friendly, creative, and knowledge-sharing environment which is part of Technofy’s culture.

Essential tasks

• Writing code in Python with associated tests and documentation
• Developing tools, applications, and services in cloud or container native environments
• Applying best practices in terms of algorithmic, object-oriented programming, and data structures
• Following and proposing software architecture plans established by the team
• Participate in Agile rituals
• Work on your self-actualization by passing certifications, attend relevant events and try things by yourself in our sandbox environment
• Staying up to date on the latest technologies

Requirements

• Be passionate about what you do!
• Experience with and its ecosystem
• A degree in Computer Science or other engineering specialty
• Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Ability to understand and implement algorithms
• Ability to plan and implement data structures relevant to a given problem
• Proficiency in Object-oriented programming
• Proficiency in English and communicative skills
• Desire to learn

Optional (But appreciated)

• Working with Linux / Unix based OS
• Experience with AWS, Azure and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with RESTful APIs
